Exclamation remote control closing/opening the doors... windows

Hello folks! HELP HELP...
New on this forum, this is my second H3 in my life.

Hummer H3 3,7L (2010) has problems with remote control closing/opening the doors. In short:
  • remote is working, the battery 2032 is new.
  • all 4 turning lights are working (one flash / two flashes)
  • the driver door key is working only for this door.
  • the red lamp (locked-car below the speed meter) on the cockpit is working well following the on/off following the remote instruction
  • the driver window is not working: the engine of the window has been tested and it's ok. All others windows are moving up and down correctly with any switches
  • the buttons U/L on the windows switches paddles is not working (driver side and passenger side too).
  • The OBD does not give any error.
Any suggestions will be really appreciated.
Thanks )))

Welcome to HF.

Did you disconnect the battery before this problem started? Are you still using the Crappy Azzed OEM Battery Terminal Connectors?

If the battery is not properly connected (which the OEM Battery Terminal Connectors cannot do after a couple battery disconnect/connect replacements etc.... the driver door window will not work and door locks will not work either. This can be corrected in a couple different ways, the easiest is to chill out and drive it for a few ignition cycles (cold starts to full operating temp). Search it out about driver window & locks not working and REPLACE those POS OEM Battery Terminal Connectors with a quality aftermarket set like Stingers or your favorite brand.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, I MOVED your thread to the H3 section where all H3 questions go.

While you are searching around here and reading old threads, please do NOT tack on a question or otherwise dig them up, we do not favor necro-bumping here.

Good luck.

a broken wire in the harness to the door is pretty common.

'morning to all... thanks.

bronxteck---Thanks, The cables have been checked, no issues.

Doc Olds---Thanks for the suggestion about the battery connection not working properly. I will do the test in the afternoon, I let you kwon. I will detach the battery and I will reconnect it again. Then I will change the terminal connection.
My simple question is: if there is a bad terminal/connection, why the engine starts? The drain current of the engine is much more than a door / automatic system.

Here below a list of error found this morning with OBD.
Heep in touch! Thanks
Lorenzo

HI guys!
This morning I removed and dismounted the "WINDOWS/U-L paddle switches" and I cleaned all the rubber/carbon surface contact on the electronic board. Great surprise! Everything is working again.

Huge Hug to all of you.

What about the ERROR list I posted?

Good to hear.

Make SURE to replace the Crappy Azzed OEM Battery Terminals. Your PCM and BCM are in part voltage detectors, the systems they control and monitor are tied to very specific voltage sets, when the battery connection is not 100% consistent and proper, there can be errors caused. Voltage fluctuation even down to millivolts can create issues both on the monitor and control side.

Everybody here knows the OEM Battery Terminal Connectors are garbage. Failure is certain, the only issue is when failure occurs.

I use Stingers.... SPT53302 SPT53102 Put them on within the week I bought the 09 Alpha before doing anything else, except getting rid of those useless Nurse Bars.

Almost anything is better than the OEMs.
