Default Rack and Pinion/CV Axles

I have 2008 H3 Alpha. I am not an experience mechanic by any means, but I do like to figure things out and do some of my work on my own. I am needing to replace the rack and pinion/cv axles... just wondering if there are any other areas of part replacement I should be think about replacing while I have the front end torn apart. I have already replaced the upper A arm and all joint along with the shocks. I would just like to tear it apart once Thank you for your help.

You're "needing to replace rack and pinion/cv axles", wtf did you do?
I replaced my shocks, because I wanted an improvement on ride and control.
I replaced the steering shafts, because they were rotted/worn out.
Other than that, all else is still oe and tight, on my '07.

Check your diff mounts (all 3), hubs (both sides), prop shaft CV & U joint, etc.
Easiest way I have found to replace the rack is to disconnect the 3 diff mounts and front prop shaft. Slide the diff back a few inches. It gives you all kinds of room!
Also access the steering shaft and steering rack lines through the driver side wheel well (remove the liner).

When you do your axles, don't forget about the shaft seals (inner). I haven't replaced mine yet, but I don't believe they come with the axles. One of those "while you're in there" things.
