Please Help! I installed a new stereo unit in my 09 H3X and now there’s error messages on dash and flickering lights/buttons/dials everywhere in the cab. Shifter can’t be pressed at all either. The stereo works fine but has negatively affected the vehicle somehow. Any suggestions and/or solutions would be much appreciated. Thank you!

 

disconnect the radio interface harness if your problems goes away then the interface is probably bad or improperly installed.

 

 

Thank you haha, I really thought I messed something up costly or permanent but then I did something I should’ve done before I posted…..replace the new stereo with the original…duh right? Everything went back to normal in an instant. Very scary flashing lights though omg! Returning the new stereo and sticking with the OG + standalone CarPlay screen for now.

 

Make sure you have the correct interface/adapter and triple check your wiring.
