pics of led front corner lights
so like i promised i would post pics of the new amber front corner lights that are led and are by eagle eye, here are a couple of pics. 2 before i put my brush guard back on and then with my brush guard and then while they are on but being its lights out still u cant really see how bright they are. there are 20 led in each one and will try to get a pic when it gets dark out. these are so much nicer then oem and the install was easy there was around
10-15 bolts or screws that needed to come out. so enjoy the pics and like i always say peace out and HUMMER ON

I got these same lights and wanted to share some photos and a short vid clip - from a blacked-out perspective. As some of you might recognize, I've finally made the complete transition from 'chrome package' to fully blacked-out on my black '08 H3.
The grill was the final piece, so I figured what the heck I'll give these led corner lights a shot while I'm installing the grill. I must say the lights look great and are surprisingly BRIGHT! I picked them up on eBay for just over $100 plus shipping. They're made by Eagle Eyes (I had Eagle Eyes LED tails on my BMW 3-series, and they looked great and never had a problem). I was glad to see that the clear front lens is removable (clips), just like the OEM lenses.
Photos are below, uploaded according to the site's specs, so I hope they look okay. Note that I've already replaced the side markers with smoked (black) ones.
The only minor problem that I have with these lights now, is that I think they look a little "blingy" - and that's what I've worked so hard to eliminate from my H.
I'm leaving them as-is for now, but am strongly considering spray tinting the inside of the front lenses with a coat of black/smoke to reduce the "chromeness" that shines through. I've also thought about painting black the interior 'chrome' painted surfaces of the lights, but am afraid it might make them appear too dim (not reflect enough light), and painting around all those LEDs might be troublesome, I haven't yet looked closely enough.
Yet another thought was to just tint the inside of the lens and mask the center in the shape of a circle, mimicking the stock headlights and fogs (see attached photo). But I'm not sure I really like that either!
Keeping them as-is for now. I like 'em. There's a pretty good chance I'll end-up smoking the inside of the lenses soon - at least to see how it turns out.
Looking forward to your thoughts. I'll post the video if/when the upload finally makes it to YouTube.

Timpossible, I say go for the circle look on the marker, I would even say go as dark as possible, maybe not use a spray tint but rather and actual enamel paint? Ive wanted to do the same with my rig but just haven't gotten to it yet. Whats the install like for the lights? Did you have to remove the grille? Or can it be done from inside the engine bay? My brush Guard/ Winch Bumper is a PIA to remove and has to be in order to do the grille removal...
DAGKANA, thanks for the input. I just might do that! Afterall, if worse comes to worst and I don't like it, I can just replace the lenses.
I will say that installation would be a cinch IF you didn't have to remove the wheel well liners. This is tricky the first time, and not much fun the second!
For this post, let me define corner lights = the lights that face the FRONT of the vehicle.
For this post, let me define side markers = the lights in the front fender that you see from the left or right side of the vehicle, NOT the front.
You'll notice I already replaced my side markers with smoked ones, so I'd already learned how to remove the wheel well liners before.
The front grill needs to come off (6 bolts on the '08) to allow the corner lights to move forward, they're bigger than the grill opening. The corner lights are held-in by 3 self-tapping screws for each light. The screw-heads face the rear of the vehicle, up inside the wheel well.
For me to get to them, I had to remove the wheel well liners - and taking out all those clips again (after replacing the amber side markers with black ones), well, let's just say I'm not looking forward to doing it again. But at least I know how now! I did read somewhere on here, where someone said they're able to replace the corner lights without removing the wheel liners, but I just don't see how that could be done (without removing the entire plastic part of the out fender, which I have NO desire to do).
I hope this helps!
P.S. If you want help removing the wheel well liners, PM me and I'll explain in detail. I'd do so here, but want to keep the post on the subject.

lucky19942001, are the front lenses of your corner lights Amber or Clear?
I just now realized my previous post might be all for nothing if your front lenses were purchased in Amber!
I purchased mine confident that the lenses were clear, hence my post and photos! If we're talking about 2 different products, perhaps I should create a new post and delete mine from here.

Here is a short video clip of the front corner LED lights flashing in action, for those interested.
If you're familiar with LED technology, you'll notice the nearly instant on-off light output. For everyone else, the flashing on and off of LED lights is very crisp and distinct - a sure call for attention; whether you like it or not, it's sharp!
Watch it here, and compare the led illumination of the front corners to the stock filament bulbs in the rear:
