Pretty easy. An I5 only has one bank (one exhaust manifold because it is a straight head not a V which has one on each side).
There are two positions, sensor #1 and #2. #1 is the front one closest to the head, #2 is farther downstream.
They are numbers 2 and 5 in the diagram. The No. 2 in the diagram is position 1. Might look into an O2 changer socket if you do not have one, it has a slot on one side for the O2 wires to go through. I made mine out of an old spark plug socket years back.
Just a quick update... replaced the sensor with AC DELCO part #213-3207, took me about 10 minutes. Cleared the code and it hasn't come back. I wish every job on my H3 could be this easy.
