Hey everyone,

I am looking for a nice quality OEM style design hitch. I have been looking at all the options online and I want to make sure I get one that is nice and tucked away like the stock one.

I found a few forum threads but most seem to end in someone modifying an aftermarket hitch by cutting and welding and I don't really want to get into that.

Any recommendations? Thanks so much guys.

That's going to hang down and reduce your departure angle.
The OEM one exits thru the rear bumper. Any bolt on will exit below the bumper.

My H3 did not have a hitch when I bought it. I found a used OEM hitch and swapped it into the rear. Easy 30 minute job, about 8 bolts.

 

Hm...I was under the impression that this is the same design as the OEM one with those downward bends where the receiver part is. The manufacturer's site says it is concealed.

Bunger is correct. Keep in mind that the OEM hitch is paired with the OEM rear bumper for the hitch option, it has a cut out that the regular non-hitch OEM bumper does not. The best way to do it is swap the bumper, but you can cut the notch yourself and install the OEM hitch.

Just an example, look at my OEM hitch and bumper with notch.
