No Money Mo Problems fuse box damage
Curious to know if anyone else has experience this issue of a broken bolt for power to fuse box. I was wondering if I could double up on the one post or jb Weld this bolt back on? Is this just get a new fuse box time? TiA

If the broken lug is made of lead you may be able to solder that connection. Recommend a big solder iron and not a torch on that bad boy.
Drilling and tapping could be another attempt. However vibrations may cause a open circuit condition at some point.

You replaced the mega fuse? You can't "double up" since it defeats the purpose of the fuse. You can't "glue it" too much resistance. Simply pull the fuse box, remove the broken bolt and install a new bolt.
Hey All,
I recently changed out my alternator (thanks to this awesome forum) however my battery died and when tested the alt is only reading 11 volts. I changed the 91 mega fuse however I'm getting no alternator juice. Has anyone ever purchased a bad/ faulty alternator??? I purchased the AC Delco part. I really don't want to install another alternator. Thoughts/sarcasm??? 2006 I5 by the way

Fuse box
Hummerz just to be clear you recommend removing the entire fuse box before replacing the broken bolt?

He actually meant remove the "fuse block" #8 and then replace the bolt. The block has four tabs that hold it in place over the fuse tray (lower cover #7 ). I doubt you would have to completely remove it from the truck, once unsnapped from the tray, you can manipulate it enough to get to the bolt while it is still connected to the harnesses below.
If you read the replace the alternator from the top Thread in the FAQ section, you will get some pointers on what to do.

I also MOVED this Thread out of the FAQ Section where it is clearly indicated to NOT post there and says:
"Please DO NOT POST IN THIS SECTION just because you thought up some question!!!!!! This includes all you newbs. Use the search feature and look up your question(s) first, you will most assuredly find your answer.
When you have been on this board long enough to "know" what a FAQ is ...( like more than 400 posts) you might then have an idea of whether a post in here is justified. I am tired of cleaning this up over and over.
Thank you for your anticipated cooperation."
