With increasing the wheel size you will loose comfort!
This you can slightly compensate with increasing the tire diameter...max. 35". Regarding the spare...many guys remove the spare at the back. Just put it in the trunk. Again it is a personal choice about the final look! That's what makes our ride so interesting...the many choices you have! |
Quick Q......
we recently bought a 06 H3 that has the stock tires/wheels. Wife wants to go with black rockstars and big tread tires....... any suggestions ???? also, what can be used / done with stock wheels to achieve same look ?? I tried tire/wheel places but they all suggest "lifting" truck, which she is only 5'0" ..... not really and option... tks. |
Those Jester's are nice, but you need to get a 33/12.50/20 at minimum (imo), screw those metric tires, some General Grabber's with the red letters would look BA with those wheels, I'm personally biased towards Toyo Open Country M/T's and I'm trying to figure out what wheels to put on mine right now in a different thread, but I am going with a 35" tire for sure, (although I have a V8 to push them), so depending on what engine you have, you might wanna just go 33" and not lose as much power, but if you want to stick with the metric sizes I would recommend the Cooper Zeon LTZ's, you can get them in a 275/60/20 which is a 33" tire and only 9" wide, they also have them in smaller sizes, I had them before and they handle and wear great. good luck.
