Medic > is your warranty a GM Extended warranty or an aftermarket company? Both are very good. I ask because I had the choice of the 2 when I bought my H3. I chose the aftermarket comapny bacause it was a little cheaper and they didnt care about modifications such as intakes, torision lift etc. It also seems they are a little more apt to jump on something I bring to their attention after the aftermarket warranty kicked in, I'm guessing because it isn't GM paying. You should do fine wiht either and like Draketh said, its finding the right service department.

Anyway, congrats on the puchase and welcome! From Michigan again.

Thumbs up

Looks like Medic has been infected with the same loyalty and enthusiasm for Hummers and my wife and I were upon purchasing our first one (currently have our 3rd).

Congrats from Michigan on your new ride......you'll continue to love it for sure.

@Widespread Hummer: To answer your question I am not sure exactly who my warranty claims go through... The company listed on my paperwork is Mechanical Protection Plan(MPP). It was the 4yr/48k mi warranty offered to me at the time of purchase w/ the Lojack package. It seems pretty good in the sense of any claims fixed by the dealership I purchased from is free w/ rental car and any other GM dealership is only $

**$100 deductable It's my first vehicle under warranty minus my crotch rocket so I'm pretty stoked lol

@mgoblue85t: As for the "infection" I'd say we are fully incubated as my wife this evening asked "what 4x4 club will we be joining now? and when are we going out?" lol I couldn't be happier lol

@mgoblue85: as for the "infection" I think it's fully incubated as my wife asked this evening "what 4x4 club are we joining bc I'd like to go out soon" lol I couldn't be prouder Just gotta make all the necessary mods now as well as add some vehicle protection(rock sliders and underbody kits). Does anyone have any suggestions??

There's plenty of offroad and Hummer groups in California. I've seen some posts on this forum and also on facebook. Have fun!!
