I have same problem. Just bought an 09 Alpha H3 and NO roof rack key. My GM dealer advised going to a mobile locksmith, about $15 or $30.

Take a look at the lock on the roof rack - it will have the intials "SP" followed by a number from 1 - 5 engraved on each of he 4 locks right below the keyhole.

Let me know what number it says after the "SP" and chances are, I have a key for it that I can send you at no charge.

just take a small knife and put in the hole and turn....they are not as secure as people think....in fact pretty easy to do....dont have the key, dont waste 30 bucks on a quick fix...my opinion.

 

Can anyone with a SP2 key help me out? I got my H3 in September and the original owner didn't have the key. I'll pay for it I'm just not trying to spend the $30. Feel free to PM me thanks in advance!!
