Default Need advise on CAI...

To all the Experts and enthusiasts,
I am new to HUMMER and need some of your expert and experienced advise.

I want to upgrade my air intake of my 2006 H3.
I went through all the post, but still confused.
But I am confused between K&N (57-3043 or 77-3044KP ...?) + throttle body spacer and AirDoc + throttle body spacer.
I know both have their own advantages, but not sure which one to go with.

I haven't done any off roading yet, but will do for sure(not in mud though).
I am looking for some performance improvement in HP and in pickup or acceleration.

Thanks in advance.

First skip the spacer, and just get your throttle body ported. You will be happier. The draw backs to the K&N are it is open and you have to oil it. I run one because I got a package deal with my exhaust. As far as a performance difference between them, It is probaly minimal if any.

X2 on the TB spacer (waste of your hard earned cash).

I run AirDoc intakes with AFE ProDryS Filters no oil to foul up the MAF sensor and it is a completely sealed system.

Tainter, is right about the TB spacer, Air Doc and AFE filter.(I run the same set up on my Alpha)
K&N vs Air Doc in HP gain K&N wins, ask yourself is this H3 going to be on the road only or on/off road H3 if that go with Air Doc

I just switched over to the AFE filter (Tainter's suggestion)
It is wonderful that my K&N oiling air filter days are behind me. I have cleaned this AFE filter once after being off road and it cleans up in an easy fashion.
The AFE filter I received has rubber "V's" on the end to engage the notches in my stock 07 I5 air box. The AFE filter I have is too long to make this possible. I rotate the filter and then I can close air box cover.
I am not complaining.
I too have been running AirDoc's CAI for a couple of years now. No TB spacer for me either

Ok guys I am making my mind towards AFE and cancelling TBS wish.
So which AFE in particular, everybody is using (or recommending) and why...? (which will go with AirDoc)
