I cannot get my 2006h3 to turn over battery is charged up but wont start as i crank it?

Let us get some terminology straight.

Cranking = turning over. When your starter rotates the crank, you are turning over the engine. So I am thinking you are saying the ignition switch engages the starter to turn the engine over but it is not firing/starting = no combustion?

Passlock is a common problem in older GMs.

How many miles on it? Any recent work or other issues just before this problem?
