any update on how this set up is working? I'm wanting to do the same thing in the near future because yours looks just amazing. Have you used it much?

 

This looks really good, I like the OEM style integration. A machined billet & powder coated trim plate would finish it off nicely.

 

I read this thread awhile ago and am itching to do the same. I bought a mounting plate from jcwhitney, just havnt found the time to do it. I like it when installs go smoothly but i guess i'll have to get over that soon.

 

So far I've only used it in testing & it works like a champ.

I've pulled a friends wrangler out with ease.

 

do you have any idea what the deminsions the winch plate was? I found an universal one I had bought years ago for my jeep that didn't fit and I tossed it in the scrap pile and forgot about it, I'm hoping it'll work on the hummer.

 

Went to my local auto Auto Parts Store today and they had a sale on, the winch that is normally $750, was on sale for $359, so now I am the proud owner of a winch for my Hummer



Now to order the winch plate off eBay and then find the time to fit it all up

 

I'll have to measure it.

It was just a E-bay winch mount.
