Default MPG roll call for H3s

So far I'm averaging 18+. My wife and I both drive about 80% freeway at around 75mph. I use the cruise control often. Niether of us is heavy footed...it doesn't seem to make a difference anyway. At this point I can't complain. Same as the 02 V8Grand Cherokee we have but way higher on the "style points".

The best I could do on a trip from Ohio to Savannah, GA was 16.5 mpg doing 75 mph. I haven't checked it since my mods. 18mpg is very high on average.

Last two tanks = 17.5 mpg. I only have 1500 miles on it. I consciously take it easy on the pedal. About 75% freeway driving where I try to hold it at or below70 mph. This last tank my range was 344 miles.

07 H3 Adventure. Fair to midlin! Checked it one time on a Vacation loaded full of stuff, the wife and kids, never had the cruise over 75mph, tires at 39psi = 16.5 +. I belive it is doing slightly better now.

Mileage still stinks....between 14 and almost 16 mixed driving. Drive 70 -75 on Interstate and drive with traffic on normal roads.
2007 H3 Adventure, Auto Trans. 35 psi in tires. 3300 miles on clock

I'm not sure why I'm only getting in the 13's. When I first bought my 07 5 weeks ago I got 15 driving it back from Tucson to Phoenix on the highway doing 75 - 80. Got home and put 305/50/20's on it. Dropped down to mid 13's. Put Throttle body spacer and airaid air cleaner hoping I would get something out of it. Went to 13.6. I know the speedo is a little off with the larger diameter tires but not sure how much.

My air is still on (hence Phoenix) and my driving is short jaunts. However I am light on the throttle and always checking to see how much I can squeeze out of the tank.

I did sell my Suburban which got 9 mpg for my H3 and am glad I'm getting what I am, but I have to admit I was hoping for more. Lets see what I get when the air come off when the weather gets cooler.

Even with the A/C and short jaunts, I would think you should be getting better than 13 mpg.

Your wheels are bigger, but the profile is shorter, so I think it's pretty close to 32-33" diameter, whichis the stock diameter.

14.5-14.9 mpg, 11,400 miles, 07 H3, auto, a/c on most of the time and a heavy right foot. Also added airaid, exhaust and pcm tune. I'd say it's 75% city driving. I think the heavy right foot trumps any other changes I've done. [/align]

I went up not quite 2 inches, but maybe it's just because of the short jaunts I take. I work from home and a lot of my driving is taking my son back and forth from school which is a mile away. I need to take her out and see what she'll do on the open road.
