Mpg
were your first calculations off or did you really lose 6mpg going to 35's?
No I was really getting avg 18 with stock tires.......not sure what happened but calculations are a bit off now due to miles accruing less....(about 5 mph off) with the 35's my last two fill ups yielded 11.97 mpg. taking into consideration the 5 mph difference I might be at around 13 tops and to answer your question yes it made that big a difference. Keep in mind I drive mostly highway.
I've got an Air Doc, Magna Flo, K&N filter, stock 265-16's, don't drive with a lead foot, and have never gotten better then 13.6mpg. If anyone with an Alpha is getting around 18mpg, PLEASE chime in here, as I might have something seriously wrong with my truck!
14.974 gallons
$3.339
233 miles traveled since previous fill
233/14.974=15.56030450278

By the way, getting ready to take out Mobil 1 oil change and go back to Amsoil which was giving me around 18 average with stock tires.
Something is definitely wrong since at this time I had a bad 02 sensor and was driving less highway. All is fixed now and with 35's my last fill was:
14.620 gallons
$3.249 (thanks to Giant Eagle rewards card)
175 miles travelled
175/14.620 = 11.9699042407 (Ouch)

I know this thread is a little old but its the newest MPG one I saw. I have a leveled (23.5) 09 3T Alpha adventure with Predator search and rescue brush guard and got 16.47 (280 miles 17 gallons) today going through the pass I-8 EL Centro to San Diego -40 to 4000 (I believe) to sea level and back at 70-75 mph. If I still need to do the conversion on the 09 than i got 17 (290 miles 17gallons) not to bad.
