Looks doable but like you said. Certainly not like the old days when thermostats were on top and easy.

Do a search here, some guys have modified the stat to the top. I wish I found this mod prior to replacing mine. I found the parts at Summit Racing website, next time it goes bad, I think I may move it up top.

I have decided to keep her til she dies. So I'm sure I will be replacing it 1 more time.

 

Has anyone seen the all aluminum 3 and 4 core all aluminum radiator’s on Amazon and eBay for the H3 alpha some even come with electric fans ? Has anyone tried any of these for fitment these alphas really need better cooling but not much room to play with mine runs high on the temp gauge but good on the scanner considered trying this route but figured someone has already done it possibly

We've seen cheap parts at the Jungle and FleaBay and I would not use them.

You need to diagnose why your Temps are high, hold off on parts throwing. We will pick up in your new thread and I would ask, what are your Trans Temps?
