Default Locking Fuel Door that doesn't require drilling into the body?

I'm looking for a black locking fuel door that doesn't require drilling into the body. I have found tons of fuel doors but they all say "easy install in minutes" which frankly scares the crap out of me [:-]

Nothing that a I know of, it took me less then 20 mins to install mine, it comes with a template that you tape on and just drill the holes, not hard to install.

I have this one..........(in chrome)....and it has held up very well.

You can get it from any of the vendors here on the forum.

Uses 3m tape and two self tapping screws to secure it to the fuel filler bucket.

I had it on my '06 then transferred it to my '07, bucket and all.

If you had to take it off, you would be left with only two very small holes on the inside of the bucket and some tape residue.

Super simple install.....15 minutes tops and 10 of that will be cleaning off the plastic bucket so the 3M tape will stick.

Instructions and self tapping screws come with the door. All you need is a screwdriver...Medium Phillips Head.

Clean the bucket/trim ring, position the door, peel off the tape and stick that bad boy on. There are two tabs in the
backside of the door ring that will attach to the inside of the bucket that keeps everything nice and snug.

No drilling, just push and screw.

That's it.

One word of advice, unless you trust yourself to eye ball it, I'd test position the door then use a crayon to mark the sweet spot.

You only have one shot with that tape.

Thanks Gunner, mine came with the door, three small L brackets, 3 self tapping screws and NO instructions. I'm gonna install it later this morning when it warms up a bit.
