2008 H3..my key just began to get stuck in the ignition. It cranks up fine and ill drive it around. But when i cut the truck off the key will lock in. The truck will crank back up with no problem but the key wont come out. I took a chance and left the key in. I came back around 30-45 min later cranked the truck up then drove around the block. When i came back and parked the key came right out with no problems. It has done this the last 3 times ive drove it.

Two things:
1) What is the state of your battery's charge?; and,
2) Are you still using the crappy azzed OEM Battery Terminal Connectors? If so, get rid of them and replace with a quality aftermarket set
like Stingers or your favorite brand.

When your key is stuck in the ignition, that is GM's way of telling you your battery is dead.
Inconsistent or very low volts may trick the system, or you may have the beginning of an ignition key short/failure.
