Not much to report. H3 has been running ok. I see some snow over in Rock & Roll city. Hummerz you have a snow plow on your H3? Many years ago I spent Lots of hours at a truck stop near Erie Pa. Waiting for the New York thruway to open. Lots of snow up along Lake Erie.

No snow plow for me. I live in a development that doesn't get the attention the main roads get. My GGAT2's still get me to the beer store without a problem, even in deep snow accumulation. That reminds me, soon to be 8yr old tires, yet they still don't lose any air, the tread is still deep, no cracking, and I don't get any tpms warning light. When the sensors go, the tires go!
In the meantime, I will drive on!

Your tires look new. I put 2 new ones on front when I purchased H3 . Back ones look as good as front. That's great you get to beer store. There was a guy a few years ago in my area had so many DUI'S he rode his riding lawnmower to store for beer. I saw him going down sidewalk in over 6" of snow. Whatever works. Beer is important.

I received a dui once, 23+ years ago when I purchased my home. Celebrated at the bar around the corner. Friendly barmaid, allowed me to help myself to the crown royal and buds. After closing the bar, I drove home. Couldn't get my key to work in the front door, then a friendly cop showed up to inform me, I was at the wrong house. Couldn't deny the dui with my truck in the driveway.

On another thing. When I purchased my H3, I changed the oil first day. I don't know if it had regular oil or synthetic. So, I put regular in. Mistake? Should I put synthetic in? Seller has long gone. Can't ask him now. Thoughts?

Did you read the HUMMER H3 Owner Manual?

Note Page 440:
Engine oil which meets GM Standard GM6094M and
displays the American Petroleum
Institute Certified for Gasoline
Engines starburst symbol.

When I purchased my H3, there was no owner manual. I always change oil when I get a new vehicle. (new to me). On the oil cap it says SAE 5w30. So that is what went in along with a new AC Delco filter. I purchased a owner manual off ebay about a week later. Last night I checked my owner manual. It states, use SAE 5w30 oil. If you live in a area where temp. goes down to -20F use Synthetic. I looked at the oil bottle, It is a blend of Synthetic Pennzoil. Is my H3 going to die?

Thanks, I guess I'm good. Was going to call Pall Bearers for Funeral . How many do you think it will take to carry H3 to grave just in case?
