2008 Alpha/Off-Road here, purchased with 90K about 3 years ago, now have 145K. Added LED light bars on the roof and the grille, LED interior and backup lights, Torsion adjustment, AirDoc style intake. No repairs needed other than HVAC door control module, and a new (OEM) radiator (just about 2 weeks ago).

Bought a 2006 new. Has 3.5 I5 engine. with 100k miles. No real issues. A spark plug coil. Couple of o2 sensors. One tie rod.

Extremely Satisfied with my H3.

2009 Luxury H3 - holding up well! 92K

Front right drive seal starting leaking about 50K

Stupid column lockout battled for 3 years on and off recently had dealer change it out while in for throttle body replace (too cold out to do!) which due to went into limp mode only when 25F or lower. Runs and gets great mileage now. I cleaned the MAF also.

Replaced driver broken window switch about 70K.

Recently had all the driveline fluids changed with synthetic. Shifts awesome smooth! Front brakes couple weeks ago second set Raybestos ceramic and brake fluid change.

Belt and tensioner and idler changed recently. Check your pulleys! Mine spun like roller blades!! The idler is absolute stupid location to change!! Remove wheel liner, bottom hose, AC line etc...

Other than this just a super cool ride!!

Thumbs down Old Yeller

221,000 + miles and still going strong. So far: replaced radiator, brakes X 2, Radio, clutch and throwout bearing, thermostat, tires X 4, coils X 6, plugs X 3, wheels X 1, windshield washer hoses X 1. Largest complaint: check engine light has been on more than off since purchased new, codes 0327,0327 knock sensor which has been replaced 3 times and the dealer cannot figure out why. I run it on 89 octane and AC deco plugs, second complaint dealers are expensive as hell and aren't worth a pile of crap.

I bought a 2007 I5 with 200k and it looks like the previous owner replaced the transmission & Transfer case. Carfax shows the sunroof was serviced 3 times and then finally replaced.
everything works like it should and it looks incredible for a 2007 I commute with it everyday Monday-Friday 75 miles round trip my plan is to keep it 2 years and move on to the next.

What is the 89 octane for? A stock H3 cannot take advantage of that as the factory PCM tune is for 87.

The dealership is the LAST place to take any out of warranty vehicle to for service.

If you want help on the P0327, post up a new thread and we can help.
