Hey all, its time for the pesky often failing steering U joint to go away on my H3 (09'). When i do this replacement does anyone think its possible to put a universal boot over the joint? Is this something someone brighter than me has done or been proven to not work?

i just want to get another 150k out of this shaft too because michigan salts kill parts.

 

Ive not done a boot on mine. Replaced on both my H3 and my sweet'ys.
If I chose to do it again I'll gat a shaft and parts from Borgenson or Flaming and cut to fit. They both have universal kits, I think?
