NEED HELP: I'm trying to remove the transmission pan; I removed all the screws of the front drive shaft, but I can't release it; what else do I need to remove?
It is called rust and corrosion. You need to break its hold. With a rubber mallet or small hammer, TAP........ that is TAP (do not bash, whack or beat) the Yoke that holds the U Joint on the shaft end, then move drive shaft away from the front diff. Might want to wrap the U Joint Caps with masking tale so they do not come apart and drop Needle Bearings all over.
Another tip. If you are laying under the H3, put a foot on a front tire and push it to move the Pinion Yoke clockwise/counter-clockwise a bit to line the U Joint back up during assembly, or help with taking it apart.

Dropping the transmission pan does not require any further disassembly. Easy to drop/reinstall with the proper tools!
If you need to drop the front drive shaft?:
You are not going to remove the Trans Pan on an H3/H3T with the front drive shaft attached at both ends. Disconnect it at the front, move aside and hold it with a wire or bungee etc....
Thanks for the replies. I tried tapping with a rubber hammer and pulling with a screen driver. But it doesn't budge. I'm afraid of breaking something by applying too much force.
Should the bar come back a little bit or just sideways?
See the picture:
The yoke has these two side things that Look like retainers for the bar. Are those causing me all the problems, or is it just Rust and corrosion?

Look up the vids on the job out there.
I don't need a vid to drop the pan? Simply remove the 13mm bolts on the heat shield, out of the way, makes easier access to the transmission pan bolts above the front drive shaft. The H3 Transmission pan has a cutout for the drive shaft so it drops without removal.
