Hummer H3 DVD Stereo Install
Finally got around to upgrading my stereo. Install took a little over three hours, complete with device for door chimes. I thought everything was going great, but I do not have the right front speaker or right front tweeter, they are not producing any sound. I pulled the stereo out, there are no loose connections and I did not miss any wires from the harness.
1) What color are the RF speak and RF Tweeter.
2) Is there a fuse that may have been blown?
Want to make sure the wiring diagram I was using was correct. Why would both speakers be having a problem?

Here's the 2006 H3 complete wiring diagram....see page 90 for the radio.

From this diagram, it appears that my model does not have an amp? So if I decide to run new speaker wire and change out the speakers and tweeters, 1 to 1, will I have any sound issues? I want to make sure that I will have enough power for aftermarket pioneer tweeters and aftermarket pioneer door speakers. I don't think I missed anything on the stereo installation and I do not believe the RF speaker and RF tweeter is blown. Think this might be the easiest resolution.

The tweet and woofer are NOT wired separate. They use the same channel of the radio. There is a little resistor on the tweet to filter out the low frequencies.
It all depends on the amount of true power you head unit/amp produces and the sensitivity of the components you are installing. It's a complicated formula. Just replace what you have with some low to mid range price speakers and you should be fine.
