Default Help Pricing Hummer H3 Alpha

Hi everybody! I'm putting my H3 Alpha up for sale and need opinions on pricing. She's a 2008 H3 Alpha, mostly stock except for:

4" Rancho Lift
NFab Nerf Bars
Aftermarket Pioneer Head Unit /w Backup Camera, MP3, DVD

Located in Southern California and always garaged with 63,000 miles. The pictures show with a set of XD Monster wheels, but will be putting the stock Alpha wheels and tires back on soon. Stock tires have about 25k miles on them. KBB shows a price range of $14,188 - $16,077. What do you all think?

Stock wheels will not fit without some pretty huge spacers.

Good luck with the sale.

Does it have the rear locker? That would be more important to me than the Rancho lift (which may be a negative because if a front knuckle gets damaged, there are NO replacements). So the next question, do you have the OEM parts to put it back to stock?

Nice looking truck, good luck.

FWIW, the car valuation sites don't always capture current market values well for desirable or unique vehicles like the Alphas. I just paid $26,000 for a 2009 Alpha with 39,300 miles, OEM side steps and brush guard but without NAV or lockers. All 5 tires replaced less than a year ago too (285 size BFG All Terrain T/A K02's).

Good find! 39k miles is very good for 2009 and I thought mine had low miles! Mind if I ask where you found your vehicle?

I use a search engine called AutoTempest which located it on eBay in Florida.

I sold my Championship Edition and now my wife has decided to sell her ALPHA X with 51000 miles. It is a central Texas rig and has never been off pavement. Even though the ALPHA X was not limited production, there were fewer sold than the CE’s . I’m trying to figure out a fair price also. True car has a white ALPHA with 19000 miles listed at $41000 and my wife’s X looks just as good. Thinking maybe $25000 - $28000 . What do you think?
Thanks
P.S. Hope we aren’t breaking any of Doc’s rules………

No worries, it's all good.

I bought my no rust from the south 09 H3 Alpha Off Road (scarce as hen's teeth) in Carbon Flash Metallic with more miles, lot less $$. Took a couple years to find it.

Got rid of those gawd awful Nurse Bars immediately for $100 on CL. Swapped all my off road goodies from the 07 Adventure, sold that. Then swapped in a new TSP Truck cam, LS6 springs, Air Doc Intake, SuperModulation PP TB and electric SFan 4500 with digital controller, MagnaFlow Cat back, and applied HP Tuners. Unless a Black or CFM 09 H3T Alpha Off Roads falls in my lap, that is my truck for the foreseeable future.

Good luck guys!

Do your research online for current and recent sales of your model. Set your price based on that with room to come down and have fun. You could also put it up on Bring A Trailer with a reserve and see what the live auction crowd thinks it's worth.

ASK WHATEVER$$$$$! Main thing is to thoroughly clean/detail inside and out(nobody is gonna pay premium for your trash/dirt/odors/etc)! +Take high quality pictures & give a thorough description on maintenance/repairs. Set a price high & be open to offers. List on sites with great exposure, & see what kind of responses you get. If you are desperate in a rush to sell, you will have to be on the low side. I have an '07 adventure with 93K miles(not for sale) yet, I may be willing to take $30K
