Good luck on your project
these inline-5 motors needs electric fan
mechanical fans hurts fuel economy and performance especially on little output motor

Not 100% sure but I think the 2008-2010 H3, 3.7L needs to have the ECM reprogrammed to get an electric fan to work properly.

I think that is an option more than mandatory, you could still control the fan(s) old school through a temp sender in the lower radiator hose. The PCM for the 08+s will accept a tuning patch that can control the fan which would be preferable IMHO.

The two plug and play options out there are PCMofNC's offering and the one over on 355Nation. You could also go it alone and design/build your own.

Why wouldn't you just wire 1 to the ac compressor wire?

More info- mechanical fans can pull up to 11-15k cfm. The two fans listed above pull between 45 and 90 amps and up to 4000 cfm iirc. Electric fans of the same amperage pull roughly the same cfm's, an advertised 15A/3000 cfm fan is probably going to be closer in output to its 15A/2000 cfm competitors. If you live where temps don't exceed 90 you might find that a 2400 cfm fan works for you. Death Valley in July might not be practical with an e-fan.

What sort of info are you looking for? Info on your situation would help a ton.

Thanks for the leads on where to buy fans. Now to consider how long it will take me to recover $400 (shipped to Hawaii) worth in fuel cost lol
