Headlight Panel Illumination

Is the headlight panel supposed to be illuminated? My fog light button lights up when pushed, but that’s about it. It’s an 06 H3.

Yes, there is a wheel type reostat that controls the dim or bright on your dash board above your fog light area...

This is the illumination circuit from a 2007, not sure what year yours is.

The thumb wheel works, the dash illumination itself is working, and dome light on and off. No affect on the headlight panel.
