Hello new to the Forum but did a quick search and came up with nothing. I recently purchased a 2007 H3X with 56K miles in perfect condition. of course it has the Factory radio and I am looking to throw a new Carplay android auto radio with a back up camera because we now live in 2019 but in 12 hours it will be 2020. i already have the head unit and back up camera but i am looking for a harness for the car which is where i am having the trouble please advise on what you guys have used. I have found a few on amazon for around $100 give or take 10 or 20 depending but i dont know which one is good. Thanks for your Help!

 

Welcome to HF. Go to Crutchfield.com and look what they suggest.

It depends upon what radio you are replacing..... Monsoon or not.

METRA has been in business for a very long time (over 70 years). Schoche is another brand you may not have heard of either. Both companies make some pretty nice install kits as well are wire harnesses and adapters.

If you have a Monsoon system in your 07 H3 you will need an GMOS adapter for the amp.
As DOC suggested look up your vehicle in Crutchfield and find the model # for the installation items you need. Then go online and buy the kit on Amazon or somewhere else cheaper than Crutchfield.
