Howdy all - proud new owner of a 2008 H3 3.7 here! Car was a South African build, first sold in Dubai, then I got it in the UK. She has 130,000 miles done and is in very good condition, just needs a little bit of love.

One issue I have - when I go over 70 miles per hour I get a message on the dashboard "vehicle overspeed"; has anyone encountered this before or could you shine any light on it?

 

Check connector/wiring to the VSS, replace if all looks good.

 

Speed limit is 120 km/h on 99% of highways in the gulf. All cars here give some sort of warning above that limit
