Ok I've gotten mixed info from two shops on the steering rack, one says it's fine and another telling me the bushings are bad. I've looked at it while the steering wheel is being turned and there is movement of the rack. So what is the tolerance for movement?

 

`06 H3s had a flaw in the steering rack clamps and bushings. I recommend you to upgrade them to a more robust design. Outfitter Design has a good one.
