Hi everyone.
We hit a garage door that was too low and both cross bars were hit. The first cross bar is not aligned anymore meaning the passenger side is in the right place but the driver side was pushed further down the rail so the cross bar is diagonal on the railing. The key fits in the slot but will not turn at all (I am guessing the little latch inside the lock cover is jammed up. Has anyone had this problem before and how did you fix it (hopefully without breaking the OEM hummer branded cover).

Smack it with your hand to straighten it out, or use a rubber mallet and gently tap the base of the rack mount.

The cover lock has no relation to the roof rack rail mechanism.
