Default H3 leaking without a sunroof

Hello, I'm new to this site and have an issue I haven't seen addressed anywhere else yet. I have an 08 H3, NO sunroof, and it's started leaking on the drivers side, down through the door (maybe?) and down inside where the seat belt retracts into. I've seen lots of threads on clogged drainage tubes for folks with sunroofs, but I do not have a sunroof....so...? Also, it's all original equipment, including original windshield and no leaks around dash or floorboard, I have no clue where this is coming from. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Are you missing one of the bolts that holds the trim on the roof or cargo track? Could also be one of the rivnut for same on roof leaking.

I don't think I'm missing any bolts on the roof. But I will certainly check that out, thank you. This is a new problem, I had zero issues in CO, but now up in WA it's rainy and it leaks, ugh. It also now has a hell of a vibration-I'm thinking a broken motor mount? Looking for someone up here that will take a look without the dealership (labor-intensive) rates!

X3 on the possible rivnut issue.
You will need to completely remove the roof rails and plastic moldings to see if the rivnuts have fatigued.
If they have, and you have any weight on the roof, it will definitely cause vibrations.
Unfortunately I've had the experience.

Wow!
Well that just sucks. How did you fix that issue?

Crash repairer glued a full length metal strip on top and put in new rivnuts. I also got him to insert extra rivnuts in between the original ones.
Unfortunately I did not get any photos before the plastic mouldings were reinstalled.

Hey BoldBostonBabe,
Did you get your leaking and vibration issues diagnosed and fixed?
Any feedback would be good.
