it can probably be welded with some plastic but you will most likely have to sand the chrome and paint it with something afterwards

Super Alloy 1 Rod and Flux Repair Kit. Costly and no guarantee when diy, or can take to weld shop= more money. Cheaper to find a used one for sale... Btw, the brush guard can be taken apart, so if you can find 1 cheap that has damage to the opposite side and use the piece you need.

Not guarding against brush when a twig can snap that cheap white metal.

Look at it this way, now is an opportunity to buy a real BG.

^X2 Definitely! I bent my brush guard twice, most recent while backing up I caught it on a fence post, moved 3 inches and still in 1 piece. All I need to do now is run it into a tree, I already tried to bend it back with a 6ft 1-1/2" solid iron bar, not happening. lol

Drivers side is 4-1/2" out, passenger side is 1-1/2" out:

look like alloy. someone with tig would be able to help you, but your chome will be gone around the weld.

myself i have the guard made out of steel, powdercoated and all rusted. so i cut off the vertical studs, order new ones from laser cut- basically its deep custom... will be double 3/4" plates...and will weld back the horizontal part, sandblast it and probably will powdercoat the whole thing
