Default Guide: How to Replace Fuel Injectors on 3.5L/3.7L I5

Hey everyone,

I made a quick guide on how to replace the fuel injectors on the 3.5L and 3.7L I5's. I figure this might help some people out. I was certainly intimidated by the project (mainly removing the intake manifold) but it was actually pretty straight forward. I have also included factory torque specs and other important information from the factory service manual. Enjoy!

You're welcome! No issues or codes result and no re-programming is required if using the same model injectors.

I "tuned" the PCM in my scenario due to different flow rates in the injectors I chose. I ended up switching from 2006 3.5L to 2008 3.7L injectors (different connectors and flow rate but fit the fuel rail interchangeably), so I "tuned" my PCM for the higher flow rate. It still ran normally prior to tuning but I imagine the setup is more efficient with a tune to adjust for flow rate.
