Default Griffin Radiator

Who is running a Griffin radiator in their H3 Alpha? I'm wanting to put one in but I don't know if it will clear the factory fan and clutch. I do know if it does, I'll have to fabricate a new shroud. Planning on separate trans cooler and pusher fan in front. I want to retain the factory fan. Otherwise I'll put in a Ron Davis radiator. I would just rather have the larger Griffin for better cooling.

The clearance between the waterpump face and the radiator core will be almost 4".
The clutch fan can be installed, i never did run it though so i cant tell if there were issues with body flex. My H3 had a 1" body lift too.

I am also looking at either the Griffin or Ron Davis rad (local to me, a block from work). My Alpha here in Phoenix (105+) runs about 215-220. Too high for my comfort zone. Did you put in the Griffin and a pusher? Curious to see if the water temp changed?

Default Griffin

Have not done it yet. plans- griffin radiator, pusher, transcooler in very front, inline tstat w/ 185 deg mounted on hot side. pusher to come on at 195 deg. just concerned on getting fan shroud mounted and sealed off. it will take some modification to seal it.

I would like to see it during install so I know what I am in for.

The clutch fan fits but what are going to do about the shroud? Lots of trimming will be needed I guess (I removed the clutch fan when I went with the LS3 as it interfered with the intake tuve so I never ran it)
