If you hit the breaks real hard do you hear a clunk? I had a lot of those same issues and come to find out it was my upper control arm on the passenger side. Both got replaced. They could not figure out what was wrong at the dealer until the mechanic took it for a drive and some idiot pulled out in front of him and he had to hit the breaks real hard.. But it is a thought.

 

Nope. It happens seconds later after hitting a big bump/pot hole. It sounds as if something went back to its place, although I feel nothing in the truck... No negative steering response or anything regarding drive-ability!
