Front end help

I have a 2007 H3. Hub assembly broke in half. Half is out and half is still in the knuckle. I ordered parts to replace it all but I’m a little confused…

Is the assembly separate, as in most cars, or is the knuckle, hub and plate all one unit?

The broken half that is frozen inside the knuckle isn’t budging which makes me think I’m doing something wrong, but then I see used parts online where it looks all connected as one? The parts I bought are separates, but at the same time I can’t find a passenger side knuckle for sale anywhere!!! Figured I’d bypass the knuckle with the broken hub stuck inside it this way. Nothing is working out!!!

Please advise

Not sure what "plate" you are talking about. The dust shield?

The Knuckle and hub are definitely separate parts.

The Knuckle has 3 bolts that attach the Hub PINK to the Knuckle.
The Hubs will rust/weld themselves to the Knuckle on the mating surfaces GREEN.
Soak with PB BLASTER or similar penetrant use a press or a BFH and Large socket to separate the 2 rust/welded parts.

I've had the hub so solidly rust jacked to the knuckle that I've spent better part of the day getting it out. I now do things differently. I'll use a torch and heat the surrounding mass super cherry red and then let cool. Reheat and then beat it out quickly. I always antiseaze the knuckle and hub when replacing. I'm darn sure not wanting to have to redo the beat n heat every few years lol. I'll also wire brush all the rust away on any mating surface. And yes the hub is its own individual piece.

Smarter not harder. For sure start with Kroil or PB Blaster overnight. Use the power steering to budge (free) the Hub, then tap it out with a hammer. Old school tricks, been there done that.

The hub is knocked out of the steering knuckle with a sledgehammer. or press

Scary video. I would not go to such a master. The hub is removed very simply from the H3. Everything can be done in 2 hours maximum.

I have done a few H3 hubs, all of them were stuck good. No need for beating anything. There is a hydraulic mechanism on the truck (press) called power steering, use it to start movement, then tap it out. For you newbs, look it up.
