No reason to struggle there a few options available.

Do some searching and you'll find threads about it.

is it possible to just replace the bushing? I don't see a reason to replace the whole thing if just the bushing is shot??

Go on ebay B2110 Premium Front Differential Axle Bushing for 06-10 Hummer H3.
They run from $22.00 to $50.00 there the same part. and it not to hard to replace.
I just did mine the bushing is hard to press in. it would have been nice to have a press.

I would rig something under it, I do not believe it will just fall out, but I would give it a helper.

I left it hang. it never moved it is supported on both ends. There is a plate that keeps the nut from coming loose it is held in with a allen screw make sure you remove this before loosing the bolt that goes threw the bushing. If you have access to a press it will make this job a lot easier.

I ordered the bushing from Suspension Restoration yesterday for $25 and $7.25 shipping. It'll arrive tomorrow.

Just got off the phone with Bruce at Suspension Restoration in Modesto. He has sold off his business and partially retired but kept the Hummer parts. They do not show up on suspension.com and they have no idea of how he was handling these so if anyone else is in need give him a call directly!

I would argue that it is hard to replace as we cant figure out how to get the last bolt from cross member as the A-arm is in the way.
any thoughts?
