I need to replace my cracked exhaust manifold. I assume they all have the integrated cat in them? Anything else I need to know before I purchase? Thanks

 

Yep. The bolts like to break that attach it.
I'd just a soon replace the unit with a header that placed the cat separate.
The was a thread about that.

 

Well I hope you don't live in Ca. The smog laws will limit you to stock for the first 7 or 8 yrs.

 

Same problem here Car-Shield said they will not pay for repair because cat is part of manifold. Mechanic broke off two bolts (Front and rear) then broke off the EZ-out! I was told last Friday that the repair was covered, today I was told not so. 170.00 a month for over a year.
I did not see that this post was that old
