EPA 20hwy/18city..You DID read the superfine print disclaimer:

"*Test results based on driving downwind, downhill on a 45 degree incline with the a/c off and gear in neutral."

I've finally accepted the fact that I'll never get rid of my leadfoot and that getting 12mpg is something I can live with. And as wilsoada put it, 'Oh yeah, I hava a hummer'.

Can't wait till I throw on my 35's, I'll probably be saying it more often

I am driving 60/40 city/Highway.
the H3 has now 6500 miles and I never do less than 315 miles on a full tank.
BTW, here in France we use 95 oct gasoline, maybe that helps.

Anyway, relax. Here the gasoline price is about the double than in the USA ....

I haven't yet heard of anyone getting the MPG that they say you'll get.

I think sugardaddy isn't challenging your statement, but just speaking in general. I believe what he means is, he hasn't seen any vehicle that gets the mpg that the manufacturer claims it will get.

Time to follow-up. I did about a 50/50 split of highway and local traffic BUT I did add air to each tire. The dealership set the tire pressure at 30 PSI for each but I raised it to 40-42 PSI. The last tank of gas did give me between 16 and 18 MPG. I just need to remember to drop the tire pressure when going off road! Thanks!
