Driver side window issues ?
Ok so I got my hummer back from shop, all windows roll up fine all of sudden my drivers side will not, so I ordered new switch it works for like 2 mins then stops ??? Any clue what’s goin on
I would bet that the wiring to the switch is loose. That's what I would check first. Reminds me of Jaguar's problem with Lucas...Lucas earned the nickname...Prince of Darkness! Seems like a lot of Jaguar owners would be driving along at night with lights ON...and then...Complete DARKNESS! The Lucas bullet connectors would come loose!
You might try Tainter's suggestion for a RESET of the BCM. Simply disconnect the Positive battery terminal and wait five minutes. Then reconnect.
If that doesn't work, it might be a ground wire.
BTW, do you have a sunroof and have you had any wet spots on the passenger floorboard...which would indicate a BCM problem!
Enjoy your day! Happy Trails!

Sounds like a ground wire to me.
Check (verify)...be extremely thorough when checking ground wire issues!
Second place would be the ACC contact on the ignition switch...check Schwartzzy... spelling? I think he may have posted a .PDF of the wiring schematic. If not, Hummerz, Doc Olds and Tainter may have that wiring schematic!
BCM issues would be a distant third place, especially if you have NOT had any water leaks.
Hope these thoughts help you!
