Dealership cost to unclog sunroof drains
Wanna say first off I’m aware that there are posts and probably YouTube videos of DIY, sunroof drain repair.
im not looking to go that route,
jusr wondering if any of y’all could give me an idea of how much anyone was charged to get their drains unstopped at a dealership.
my local dealership will do it for me when I get back from being offshore For probably little to nothing , but I’m at work for a month, 800 miles away from home so if I can get it done sooner than later so be it. Just don’t have the time nor do I trust my own capacity to try any of the DIY’s . ..
Thanks in advanced,

Dealership might 'clean' them out for you but that's curing the symptoms not the cause. You need to pull the grommets and open the ends to allow dirt to free flow and not clog or you'll be right back where you started. I don't think a dealer would be willing to do anything more then flush them clean.
Tainter is right, even if you are loaded, you're flushing money down the toilet taking it to the dealership, and you'll usually leave with more problems than you started with. If you've really spent 25k on repairs I feel sorry for you and they see you coming from a mile away. The DIY for the drain tubes is really not that difficult even if you know nothing about cars. You should find a local mechanic or friend and even show them the many youtube videos about it. As for not having the time, a dealership will most likely keep the truck for a week and not actually fix the problem correctly. If you had 25k to blow, drive 800 miles, and don't like DIY fixes i'm curious why you decided to get a 15 year old H3
i just did mine today. literally took 40 minutes to do both side and put everything back together. Drilled em out so they won't clog again. I did not seem to be getting wet inside but the passenger side was definitely full of sand.
I dripped a little bit of wd40 on the grommet side, made it very easy to push them back in the hole

I've never seen anyone post the cost, but it would be a minimum 1hr labor charge.
Labor rate 2020 is up to $215.00hr, depends on your location and facility you use.
Dealers are on the high end, avg. $180.00hr.
Auto repair franchises avg. $140.00hr.
Local 1 owner shop on the low end, avg. $100.00hr.
DIY, 1 beer.

I have watched every video with what appears to be several different locations of the drain ends.. I Can Not find where that driver side tube ends. It is not under the cowl, not going to the floor, and not under the dash as shown on some.. 2003 H2 - I removed the Instrument Cluster which is of no help as there is a solid plastic housing behind that.. I see the tube running down the A pillar, and it disappears behind the dash..Any help?
