Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
hello, looking to get some input. stopped by for a oil change as im on the road rn, and the tech pointed that he noticed a small leak at the cv joint where the clamp is. the other cv axle seems completely fine. i took some pics and wanted some input. im going to be driving about 1000 miles more until im back home, and then once im home ill look at getting it repaired/fixed.
do you think this is a situation where i have to get it fixed asap? or should i be fine getting it fixed once im back home?
thanks!

Reason: pic
Check if there is not too much grease arround the CV and how big the cut or hole is. If you're loosing all grease from CV, I would change it quick, cause driving 1000 miles with a dry one will do more damage...It will sound like hard clunk at driving and turning so, cloud maybe break off ...
it honestly looks like a small seep in person. looks worse on the pics.
how can i check if it didnt lose too much? i assume this leak just recently started tbh
the boot looks full to me but maybe looks can be deceptive?
