Hello, I have a 2007 H3 with 60,000 miles and noticed at one of my cigarette lighter doesn't operate correctly when I insert an adaptor i.e. usb plug charger. BTW, both have never been used up to this point. The far left one operates as it should and the right one doesn't. Any ideas???

 

Check fuses.

 

Pull the center dash and LOOK after you check the fuse(s). I guess a prior owner tapped into it and messed it up or something is not connected.

 

You guys ROCK!!! I don't believe its the fuse if the second cig lighter works, right? Both look totally unused so Im thinking the connection might be misaligned.

 

Yep, put fingers in both cigarette lighter holes and pull slightly up and out. The bezel pops out pretty easily and you'll be able to tell right away if the connector is loose or not plugged in.

The aux outlet on the left is fuse #51, the aux outlet on the right is fuse #45 and shared with the cargo aux outlet. Check rear aux outlet.

In need of more assistance? Looking from front, start from top right(#55) and count 3 fuses left & 3 down, should be yellow(20amp)
