Default changing bulbs inside the botons

Just changed the burned bulbs in ***** that controls the ac, fan, etc... no problem, all straightforward. Even saw the post here how to. But on rear wiper one, kill me , but I can figure how undo it. I manage to remove backplate, and that it.... any thoughts?

Probably 'sonic welded'. I have been lucky opening some similar housings with sonic weld by putting in a vise and carefully clamping the part and rotating it to a different position and clamping again (usually corner to corner clamp points). If you do it carefully enough (don't crush it just flex it), it will break the weld joint. After you get it apart just re-glue it together. I'm just guessing how it's assembled, so attempt at your own risk.

If the bulb inside is not burnt it may be best to leave it. That thing is a bastard lol to open. If bulb burnt order just that part or scavenge from another H3.

First thing, take your time! Then make sure to have a full can of beer, a heat gun, utility knife, and small flat head screwdriver. Carefully heat the base(connector end), and breathe, carefully cut/pry the case open. Btw, If you destroy it

multiple options on eBay.
Buy a cheap one and experiment with opening it up or buy a brand new one.

I know this can be opened, because I did mine. Definitely not sonic welded, and as I recall not particularly difficult.

In your post #6, are you saying your new bulbs are burning out fast? I had some amazon specials that went out quickly as well, but they were actually melting and deforming enough to lose contact with the board. I eventually went to LED, but be prepared to have your colors change, as LED's are whiter than incandescent.

These are the LED's I bought. I bought both the white and the blue in an attempt to match my current colors, but neither one is a good fit. Ice blue might be better..
Amazon Amazon

FYI, the rear window know does NOT have any color tint in the **** graphics, while the HVAC DOES. So I currently have white in the HVAC, and blue in the rear wiper. They don't match, but I thought it was better than white. Also, the LED is brighter than stock, but not terrible.

ALSO - the LED's are polarity sensitive, so you may need to remove and reinstall the light the other way around if they don't light up. It's better to test before you get the cover snapped back on.

Oh, Ruan, thanks for the reply. Yes, I know they are polarity sensitive, I have installed mines, so this why ill try to use yiur Amazon link, because the ones I installed are burning to fast.
As of rear wiper boton, I manage to remove the back plate with connectors pins and that it!! I was too afraid to broke it. This why I wondered if someone took some pictures..
