Default Changed Spark Plugs and Passlock Kicked In

Not sure how replacing the spark plugs would cause the Passlock feature to kick in, but it has. Car starts and runs, but no dash activity at all.

The only thing on my dash that works is the Passlock icon. No gauges, no other lights come on. Just the Passlock icon.

I tried the 10 minute with the key in the on position three times for a total of 30 minutes, but that did not reset it. I have a ThinkTool Mini and I can reset it, but the only option is lost keys and I'm not willing to do that yet.

Anyone have any ideas?

Well, I am unsure what caused it, but I was able to reset the system by disconnecting the positive cable to the battery and leaving it off for 30 minutes. That solved the problem.

Did you disconnect the Battery when changing the plugs? Are you still using the crappy azzed OEM Battery Terminal Connectors?

I did not disconnect the battery before replacing the spark plugs. The battery connectors are still original and in great shape.

The battery terminals were NEVER in great shape since when installed on the assembly line!

It is a GM. Quality is definitely not their priority.

I've been driving GM for over 40 years, yes there may have been a glitch in the past from GM, I've corrected immediately!
