Default Buying 07 H3

Hello,
I'm new here and new to the H3. I'm a Wheeled Mechanic in the Army and have done nearly everything imaginable with th 900-1000 series H1's we have and on Monday or Tuesday should be taking delivery of an 07 H3 with 60K on the clock. Is there anything I should look for as far as common issue's? I plan to level it and run 33's for light trail use and year round daily driving. Thank in advance for any info.

Joe

Not so much on the 07. The early 06's had head issues. I have a 08 and just had my head replaced. Goodyear Duratracs are awesome offroad and on the highway. Quite but they have aggressive tread. They last a long time also. If it has nerf bars, ditch them and get you some rock rails, and some good UCP. If you would like to get the UCP like I have, pm me and I will give you the guys email who builds it. But on another note, thanks for your service to our Country, welcome to the forum and congrats on your Hummer purchase.

Thanks for the welcome, it does have the chrome nerf bars and I have located a set of the rock rails, within the first couple weeks I'm bed lining the lower inner doors and most likely the grill, basically I'm murdering it out

It's officially mine, I bring it home tomorrow, it needed a CV boot and a battery, theyre also leveling & aligning it for me. Also ordered a Predator Intake for it tonight. Not gonna lie, she has mighty big shoes to fill. She's replacing an 01 Silverado 2500HD EC SB 4X4 Duramax/Allison. Was pretty hard saying goodbye to my big old friend of 5 years.

If you decide you want some like it, I know he still has one set left of the last batch.. That is if you plan on wheeling it good.. I wheel mine good, but I dont beat the crap outta it, because it is my daily driver, but I put it thru its paces. Check out this link to our Drummond Island Trip..

Congrats on your first H3.
If you have any questions, run them by us.

On any future mods, I would suggest asking about it first. For example, the Predator CAI. We would have had a much better (and cheaper) recommendation for a CAI that is specifically made for the H3.
