Boite automatique
Merci

I believe the poster said in Italian...
I've reconditioned the automatic gearbox on my Hummer H3, and I'm told that it needs to be reprogrammed.
I haven't found any documentation on the subject.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks

Year of your vehicle is always important when asking any question. There is no programming in the auto transmission, it is controlled by programming already in the PCM for 2006 & 07, or inside the TCM for 08+.
This applies specifically to shifting issues with a fully rebuilt or swapped trans.
When a 4l60e is fully rebuilt or swapped from another vehicle the old TAP parameters are stored in data blocks 41 through 49 need to be cleared. This is done with a Tech 2 tool and will write zeroes to data blocks 41 through 49.
Tech 2 will caution the operator before the operation is completed and that this is only to be done after an 'internal repair' of the transmission.
Before clearing it I would be certain to read and save the current values for all the cells. Use can use your smart phone a capture the Tech 2 screen(s) with all the TAP Cell data for 1-2 adapt and 2-3 adapt screens. There will be 4 screens of data total. This way if things go bad you can put back the original info. Usually after clearing the info driving the vehicle for about 50 miles, start, stop and normal driving allowing the trans to shift through all the gears.
This will re-build the TAP parameters as needed.
