Default Alpha + Airdoc performance???

Hey everybody!

I am looking at purchasing an Airdoc, I am wondering if anyone can give me info on what types of improvements they are seeing with theirs.

Does anyone have and Alpha with a superchip and an Airdoc? How do you like it?

Thanks,

I have an Alpha with Air Doc and PCMforless tune and recommend it. There is more power, better response and slightly increased mpg.

08 Alpha, Superchips Cortex (87 oct perf tune), AirDoc and Wix filter. Noticeable improvement in daily driving in the city and on the highway. Mid range performance (2000-4000RPM) has had the most improvement. Low range (600-1900RPM) has had the second most notable change with a little more"grunt" to get our 5000lb+ pigs moving. Slight improvement in Fuel mileage between 1.5-2mpg with the current setup over the 12.25mpg I was getting before the above mods.

Note: Our HUMMERs may weigh more than yours (BA bumper, MM winch, Hunner Skidz complete set, UCP, RR Sliderz, Kustom Safari Rack, tools, compressor, etc.) and we have 315 MTs so my base MPG was a lot lower to start with.

Overall, We are very happy with the SC/AirDoc/Wix combo. It has made the already nice driveability of the Alpha a cut above the rest. Now if I could only keep my foot off the skinny pedal the MPG might improve even more. But who am I kidding.......

Thanks everybody! This helps alot. Hey Tainter how do you like the 315's. I am upgrading tires and looking for suggestions on size. At full tilt, do they rub the tops of the fender wells?

I personally would not own an H3 without 315s. They fill the wheel well better, give you a little extra height between obsticals and yoru skid plates and I like the ride the extra rubber gives me.

I have wheeled the **** out of 3 H3 Alphas all have had 315 MTZs and I have NEVER had any rubbing issues except for the standard extreme turning rub on the sway bar that almost everyone gets when they run 315s.
