Default Adding extra dome light to front of headliner

Gents, I have a question for the group. I see that some H3's have a dome light up front right behind the sunroof switch plus the one behind and between the passanger and driver. I would like to have that extra one added to mine. I have a 2008 and have noticed them on the 09 and 10 H3 only. So can I add this to mine? Can I tie into the sunroof wiring for power? The light it self looks just like the one that's already in the middle with the two switches on it. I've dealt with headliners before and I know I could cut the hole pretty easy in the headliner. Your thoughts? I just think the light up front is lacking.

Default Extra dome light

Installed it a while ago
First i pulled out the existing assembly to make a template for the opening to be made.
I positioned the template and marked the spot.
With a cutter i made the opening, 3 new wires connected to the wires running behind the passenger A-pillar.
Fitted the whole thing in and voila, nice result.
Happy to have light in front

Hey guys I having a hard time finding these in stock. Most places are saying they have been discontinued. Any of you can point me in another direction. I've tried Chevrolet HHR / Hummer H2 Dome Light Complete Housing Lens Switch Map Button | Factory OEM Parts, but I need the gray style. Let me know. Thanks

It was simple , I purchased a used dome light, use that as my template cut out my opening then check the fit . After the fit test was complete I tapped into the wiring on the middle lamp, made my terminations then all done

EDIT....DAMN! Didn't realize this was an 8 year old thread! I've got to stop getting sucked in by only looking at the date of the previous post.
