hello-are both camshaft sensors the same ?
also which is 'A' and which one is 'B' ?
just got code p0017 , truck is running fine so far but decided not to drive it.

location ? i know they are on front of head but which is which ?

Do you know where the manifolds are? Look at engine from the front, right side intake, left side exhaust.

B=213-3519

2008-2010

thank you hummerz- i have a 0017 code which would be 'sensor B' circuit.
is sensor b located behind/under alternater?
is 213-4223 the OE part number ? if so both sensor A& B are the same ?
my H3 is 2010 3.7 there is a cam sensor front passenger side of head.-none on driver's side unless it is beween intake manifold runners or closer to alternator.
i haven't taken anything apart yet, but would like to see sensor B first - i can't find it.

Did you pull check cmp actuator solenoid? PIP3694F Did you check/clean connectors/contacts?

the diagrams are great , at least i now know that 'B' is easy to get at.
BUT on my 3.7 there is no camsensor in the location as per the diagram for 'A'.

 

I posted the part #s above, 08-10 only has 1.
